Assignment Guidelines
For this unit, you will either write a critique of a non-fiction prose reading from The Reader, the Reading File

In either case, your essay must be four pages long and include a fifth page for Works Cited (MLA) or References (APA) including three to five sources; only some of these sources may be taken from the Internet, though using the Athabasca University electronic resources does not count as an online or Internet resource. An essay of this nature would normally use MLA style, but if you are intending to work in a field that uses APA documentation, you may use APA style for this assignment.
